Here is the simple syrup cooking and a pot of boiling water to pour over the peaches to make them easier to peel!
This was the tricky part. When I opened the canning pot it said not to use on glass top stoves, which we have. Of course, I didn't discover this until after I had already started the whole process. So we were thinking like crazy trying to figure out what to do. Then we remembered our grill has a big burner on the side. YEAH!!! It worked great!

And of course we used the left overs to make a peach crisp! YUMMO!

They look fantastic and now I want a tutorial! I don't know how to can..I've done it once, but 'wo is me' teach me!
I've never canned before, but it looks like a very good idea! I will have to eventually try it out!
