The Kids

This is my newest favorite picture of all the kids! They were all somewhat happy, which in our house is a miracle! ;) I know Emma is naked, but she refused that day to wear any clothes!

Family Night Gingerbread House!

Here is our graham cracker "gingerbread" house!

Hailey and Emma both liked tasting the frosting more than actually building the house

If you can see there are two finger marks in the top of the house from Hailey and Emma

Carson really enjoyed himself! Can you tell?

This is our finished product! Do you think we are ready to go on Food Network, or what?

Saturday morning cartoons!

I thought this was cute. Saturday there was an old Dr.Suess show on and both the girls were totally into the show. I thought it was funny they both chose to sit on the coffee table vs. the couch. They didnt even notice me taking their picture, I had to call there names several times to finally get them to turn around.

Game Night!

Robb, to spend time with the girls each night, will play board games with the girls. Last night I joined in and had a really fun time. We have this one game where this bee flies around and tries to get your honeycomb discs and you have to take your honeycomb stick and hit the bee away before it gets your honeycomb! Well Emma fiqured out if she just held up her stick the entire time the bee couldn't get her honeycomb! :) Then when she finally put the stick down and the bee got one of her discs her reply was "Oh Snap!" Robb and I just busted up laughing. Hailey was funny when she finally just picked up all her honey comb in her hand and with a smile on her face said, "there, now the bee can't get my honey!" So silly!

Santa Pics!

Here are our Santa pics! The only reason Robb and I are in the pictures are because Emma wouldn't get her picture taken unless daddy and i did too! So here we all are. I wasn't planning on getting my picture taken so please ignore the nasty girl in the back (the one with no makeup and cleaning clothes on). Yep, that's her! Just forget you ever saw her and focus on the kids! ;)

Potty Trained!!

Yeah! Emma has just finished day three with no accidents. It's our on Christmas Miracle! J/K, kind of. She insisted on wearing panties like her big sister and didn't want to wear a diaper anymore so we decided it was time and she has done great. The first day was not fun and full of accidents. The second, fewer accidents, but I had to take her to the bathroom like every half hour. Then she seemed to fiqure out how to hold it in longer, and we haven't had any accidents since the second day. HOORAY!!! Life is good when you only have one kid in diapers. Robb thinks we should get Carson going right now. I told him that he would have to take care of Carson, that's his job! ;)

The Girls Telling of the Christmas Story

Hailey after church today came up and said "Mom, I want to tell you a story." This is what she said. "Once upon a time there was Mary and Joseph and an angel came to Mary and Joseph came to Mary and they start to go on a donkey and then there was a staple (yes, that's staple, not stable), and three little wise men and the angels and the animals. The baby was in her tummy and then in the staple (again staple, not stable) :)! Following her rendition she proceeded to sing "an angel came to Joseph Smith." Then Emma feeling slightly excluded decided she needed to tell me a story as well and this is hers...
Once upon a time tere was Jesus in a stable and then angel came to the married(yes married, not Mary) then she got side tracked and took the Joseph from the nativity and continued "Hello, Joseph! Jesus, go potty and wash your hands!!! can you tell we are potty training right now!!! :) I love the things kids say and there thought processes! Pretty silly!

Carson's first hair cut!

Yes, it's true! Carson, at only the age of two months, got his first hair cut. I know it's hard to tell in the pictures, but he really did need it. It was hanging over his ears, sticking straight up on the top, and he had some pretty sweet sideburns(sort of sideburns), but it was time. As you can see from his before shot (the one where he is crying), you can see he didn't like having long hair either. The tools of the trade included scissors and a binki and several sessions later it was all done. Carson is a much happier little man now too with his shorter hair! ;)

My Grandma

This post is dedicated to my Grandma! For anyone that hasn't heard, my Grandma passed away on Tues. the 27 of November.
She was a wonderful person and I have nothing but good memories of her and she will be greatly missed. I am happy though that she is no longer suffering and that we have the knowledge of the plan of salvation and know that she is with our Heavenly Father now. We love you Grandma!!!

Tea Party

While visiting family Hailey and Emma were reunited with there great uncle Gary. He really got on there favorites list when he invited them for a tea party on the floor. They talked, laughed and ate snacks and all they talk about now is how they got to have a tea party on the floor with Uncle Gary. They keep asking me if they can have a tea party on the floor. It's pretty cute!!!

Here are Hailey and Emma decorating the Christmas tree. You will notice Emma is not wearing a shirt. She is going through an enjoying to be naked phase. I promise she was dressed at one point in the day! :) The ornaments on the tree, if you can see, are obviously put on by a two year old and four year old which is why they are on the bottom fourth of the tree and there are several branches with about four ornaments per branch! We had a lot of fun and we even had our first snow fall on the night we decorated the tree. We thought it snowed just for us!:)

Hailey's First Day of Preschool!!!

O.k.! So we finally found a preschool for Hailey. With moving and having a baby we were a little slow getting her in, but she's in. The preschool was actually full but thankfully Robb's hometeaching companions wife is one of the teachers and she let her in. Hailey absolutely loves it! She did have one complaint though. She came home saying she didn't like the girl with the twisty head. And I was like what in the world does it mean "The girl with the twisty head" I asked Hailey if she was mean to her and she said no, so I couldn't fiqure out what she was talking about. Anyways, the other day when I was picking her up, I fiqured out what she was talking about. There is a little girl in her class that has a small disablility. Her head and neck kind of looks like she has a permanant kink in her neck. So we had to explain to her that everyone has differences and that we need to be nice to everyone. She was o.k. after that. It's silly what kids say and think.
