Lovin' this little girl

I am totally in love with this sweet little girl!  In just two short weeks she has changed so much.  She loves to observe everything around her and I swear she tries to talk to me.  She has a natural smile about her when she's awake and has super pouty lips when she's asleep.  Love, Love, Love her!!!!!

Bummer

This is what happens when you try to make a pie and are a million months pregnant. You drop it on the floor on the way to the oven, and rather than cry, you laugh hysterically and tell your husband to grab the camera so you can blog about it later.

Breakfast time

Porkchop has been extremely curious about the whole breast feeding thing. The first time he saw me feeding our little girl was in the morning. He said, "Whatcha doin' mom?" I replied, "I am feeding your sister breakfast." I just figured this was the easiest way to explain it to a two year old. Well a couple days later I was getting ready to get into the shower and he loudly exclaimed, "MOM, you have TWO breakfasts!" I think my husband and I will not be able to help calling them breakfasts from now on. :)

Can't get enough

I can't get enough of this sleeping beauty
Her sweet little feet
Her sleep smiles
And more sleep smiles
And watching her siblings love on her.
Does it get any better than this?

Welcome the Newest Member of Our Family

Here is the newest member of our family! Sorry it took so long to get pictures up. Our hard drive was completely full so it took a while to transfer files to an external hard drive. But here they are. Adeline was born on July 8, bright and early at 2:08 am. She weighed 7 lbs. 4 oz. and was 19 1/2 inches long. She was by far my most difficult delivery. The labor part was a breeze, but because she was facing up she didn't not want to come out. After changing positions numerous times, watching her heart rate drop with each contraction and pushing for over and hour and a half we all thought that I was headed for a c-section. Thankfully we had a really good doctor who was able to manually turn her and once she turned around she came out just fine. We had to stay a few extra days in the hospital because her bilirubin levels kept rising and after and IV and a couple of days on lights we were able to come home. We are all loving her and I am cherishing every minute.
Now I only need to find a name to give her for our blog. Any thoughts?
