My Brother

I just found one of my brother's videos on you tube and I thought it was blog worthy.  What can I say... I'm so proud!  Love you Evan!

Treasures

So today Robb and I rearranged the girls room and under Emma's bed we found chocolate wrappers... lot's of chocolate wrappers.  So that's what they do when they are so quiet.  Hmmm.... maybe I need to hide my stash a little better! ;)

The ferry and car ride to forks!

While visiting family we went to Forks,WA!  Here are some pics from the ferry and the car.

While on the ferry we saw orcas!  It was awesome... but we weren't fast enough with our cameras to get a picture of them though.  I promise though... they were there!!!

It was a very long ride to Forks and back!  I wish i could have been sleeping and not the one driving!  We left at about ten in the morning and didn't get back till about ten thirty at night! But it was a lot of fun!

Crescent Lake

When we are rich...so probably never...this is where i want to buy a cabin!  This is crescent lake.  You can't tell from the pictures but the water is the clearest water i have ever seen in a lake!  It was amazing!

This was the sunset on the way home!

These are taken from the car on the way up to forks!

Twilight and Forks

There is a series of books called the Twilight series.  The town it takes place in is Forks, WA.   So while visiting family we decided to go!  The town was interesting.  It was exactly like the book described.  There was not a whole lot there.  It was one of those towns where you blink and its gone.  But is was fun to go and be able to say I have been to Forks, WA!

Here is the Forks hospital!
And the Forks mini mall...there is nothing inside by the way!  Just a sign!
And the local library!  That is Forks!  Not much else!

La Push Beach!

In the twilight series, there is a beach called La Push that is on the Washington coast.  So while we were there we decided to go!  Here are some pics!  Out of the whole Forks experience this was probably the best part.  It was beautiful!   It looked like the beach from goonies.  You know the part at the very end where the old pirate ship sails out to the open sea!  Anyways, it was really fun!

Mysterious things live around the La Push area!  Who knows what strange thing made this footprint...(maybe it was uncle Evan, maybe not!)
The area that looks like the scene from the Goonies!
Hailey didn't like the cold and she had to go potty!  We tried to find a secluded place for her to go on the beach, but she got stage fright! I probably would have too. So I ended up holding her until she decided to sit in the car.

Here are some of the amazing waves on the beach.  It was so pretty!

Another hair cut!

This is something like number ten hair cut for our little six month old boy!  The scissors just weren't "cutting" it anymore so while at my moms house she had an actual hair razor set so we gave it a try!  I had no idea what i was doing, but it was kind of fun and it turned out pretty good for my first time if i do say so myself.

MMMM....Pizza!

Hailey and Emma had a lot of fun on our recent trip to visit family.  Here they are making pizzas with Aunt Chelsea, Uncle Evan and Grandma.
