Random Question?

So maybe someone will have an answer to this question Hailey just asked.  "Why to we have two holes to pick our nose? hehehehe!  Any thoughts?

So I know this is a total binge blog, but this is the last thing I promise.  Hailey asked what we were having for dinner and we told her chicken and vegetables.  Her response was "Heavenly Father told me that veggies aren't good for me."  :)  O.k. I think I am done blogging now!!!

Snowmen towers!

So the snow was so fine that it was perfect for skiing, but not so much for snowmen.  Robb had to pack it in buckets thus creating our snowmen towers.  The girls had fun though.  Well, mostly Emma.  Hailey didn't like being cold and came in about two seconds after going out and watched from the window.

Some have requested more pics of the pup, so here you go!  We just got another good dose of snow and no one loves it as much as the dog.  So here is Digby!

We painted!

We just painted our kitchen.  For those of you that have seen our family room we just extended the color from in there into the kitchen.  The girls decided they wanted to help so here they are helping.  Yes they are naked, but personally I would rather clean their skin than buy new clothes.  They had fun and I am sure they will want to help paint in the future.  I can hardly wait! (insert sarcastic tone here)

Great Big Sister!

So for the first time Hailey held Carson for me and I was able to get the dishes done with two hands rather than the regular one handed feat.  Normally she wants to hold him but either she gets board or Carson gets fussy.   So this was really nice.  Love it!

Bare Minerals!

O.k.! So I finally ran out of my free melaluca makeup from when Robb worked there over a year ago so I need to find something new. I have heard about bare minerals before, but why buy when you can get for free, right? So I thought I would finally give it a try. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!! It is amazing! It feels like you are wearing nothing, but gives really good coverage, but in a very natural way. Anyhow, there is my plug! Highly recommend!!!

How long did you date? Hmmm...well, we are still dating, but if you are wondering how long we dated till we got married...eight months!

Who eats more? That is a good question. I can by far out eat him on the sweets end of things. Yes, my name is Heather and I have a problem, but they say that the first step is admitance, right? But, when it comes to the savory end of things, Robb by far can out eat me!
Who said I love you first? Robb did! At my parents house while saying goodbye with a little huggy huggy kissy kissy, he said, in his cheesy self, "I think I am falling in love with you" and I in my cool suave way replied, "yeah, me too!" :)
Who is taller? Robb is, but let's face it. We are both short! Our kids have no hope!
Who sings better? Probably me, but don't tell Robb. We don't want to crush his dreams of getting on American Idol.
Who is smarter? IN WHAT? When it comes to balancing the checkbook, dealing with the kids, etc. it is me hands down. But when Robb talks about economics or politics, WOW, way over my head!
Who does the laundry? It is a shared effort! However, Robb has issues with hanging up his clothes. Like I will ask him nicely to hang up his shirts and I will find them later hiding in a pile behind the door. But with all the other help he gives me I guess I can't complain. O.k. I quess I might complain a little, but who doesn't. Let's be honest here!
Who pays the bills? Robb does the work, I pay them!

Who cooks dinner? I try most of the time to cook dinner. But I have days! You ladies know what I am talking about and when those days happen Robb steps in like the knight in shining armour that he is and saves the day. That or the pizza delivery guy is our knight in shining armour.
Who drives? When we are together, it's Robb.
Who is more stubborn? Robb would say me, I would say it's shared. But I do like to win an arguement. Who doesn't
Who kissed who first? Robb did, thanks to Stacy Tedridine who yelled out her car window as she was driving away, "SO KISS HER ALREADY!"
Who asked who out first? Well we had a blind date first, but then and agonizing week later Robb called and asked me out again. He said later he didn't want to seem to eager or desperate.
Who proposed? Robb. In a retirment community. It was like thirty degrees outside and all I had was shorts to wear and he wanted to go for a walk and then sit on a metal bench. You get the picture. But it was his birthday so I complied. Boy was i glad I did, but maybe even more glad to go inside and be warm. J/K

I have no idea what Emma was doing when she decided to do this, but I thought it was interesting. When I asked what she was doing she simply said, "playing with the books, Mom!" Like, duh, can't you see what I am doing! She gets more and more interesting everyday!!!

Facial Fun!

Hailey saw a show where a couple of girls were doing facial masks and so she really wanted to do one. So after Robb got home from work we set out to do facials. Hailey however got cold feet and didn't want to do it, but Emma did... only so she could scare daddy with her scary face! :) So here is a picture of Emma and me and our scary green faces!

Binge Blog

Sorry about the binge blog! I finally got enough done around the house ie laundry and potty training our dog, that I finally felt like I could sit down and update our blog! So here you go, Enjoy!

So here are pictures from Christmas eve! We were lucky enough to suprise Robb's family. We were not supposed to come till Christmas, but due to weather predictions we left a day early. Here we are at Robb's parents decorating gingerbread houses. I think the adults had more fun decorating and the kids had more fun eating. I must admit though I think I was on a sugar high for a few days after! It was a lot of fun though!

Shrek!

So last Sunday, one of Emma's nursery teachers came up to us and shared a story with us. A couple of weeks ago she was sharing the nativity with a felt board and felt pieces. When she put up the donkey she said, "and this is the donkey that carried Mary," and Emma asked, "where's Shrek?" We are so proud!!! ;)
