What's a Boy To Do?

No, this isn't one of the girls feet.
It belongs to this little boy!
I promise it was promptly removed with this!
What's a boy to do growing up in a house full of girls?  I promise I do provide him with footballs, motorcycles and tools, which he does love.  But a shiny, brand new bottle of his sisters purple nail polish was just to much to resist.

The Blessing

I am so grateful for my sister-in-law Rebecca who took these pics on our little girls blessing day.  I think they turned out beautifully.
My mother-in-law made these sweet little booties for her and embroidered the date of her blessing on the bottom and the first letter of her name on the top.
I want to thank everyone that traveled to our home to be a part of this special day.  It's always fun to get together with family and friends to celebrate the birth of a little one.  Thanks again!

A lost book or an upset tummy?

Babe and Honey both got these Fancy Nancy Diaries today at Target.  Don't you love the dollar section?  Anyways, the girls came home and went upstairs to play.  While I was downstairs fixing lunch I could hear them playing.  Quite dramatically, I might add.  Amidst the drama I heard frantic cry's, "Oh no, I lost my diarrhea!  Where's my diarrhea?"  Slightly concerned I went to check on them only to find they were pretending they had lost their precious DIARIES.  Thank heavens they hadn't lost their diarrhea.  That is not something I would want to go searching around the house for!

Me and My Peeps

I know my posts have been brief lately, but it's all I have time for these days.  I admire all these women who have a million children, homeschool each and every one of them, have their house in perfect order and still maintain their blogs.  I, however, am not one of them.  So here is another short entry for the blog-o-sphere.  This is a pic of me and my sibs.  My brother just left to go on a mission for two whole years.  CRAZY!!!   I am so glad I got to go Utah to see him off.  I will definitely miss him, as will my kids.  I know he will be a great missionary and I look forward to hearing about his experiences.

My Reasons for Not Posting

I Hope They Call Me on a Mission

My little brother just left on a mission for two years.  He will be serving in the Frankfurt, Germany mission.  We were able to go to Utah to see him off at the Mission Training Center.  It wasn't so much a see him off, but a throw him out the door and go.  They no longer allow families in the MTC, so it's a drop off and go situation.  Here are some pics!
I hope they call me on a mission.  When I have grown a foot or two.

I can't believe how different this little girl will be when he gets home.
