So I know everyone this time of year in the blog-o-sphere is posting pictures of their kids going to the pumpkin patch, and this post is one in the same. But blogging is a form of journaling so this one is probably more for me and the grandparents. Feel free to read on though . . . if you want!
Here is Honey's pumpkin. She wants to paint it this year to look like a princess or a fairy. We'll see how that goes!
Here is Babe with her pumpkin. She refused to touch it. I don't blame her though. The stems were super prickly. But her reason was that she didn't want to get dirty. She's definitely my girl.
Porkchop wanted to pick up every pumpkin he could get his hands on, but finally settled on the one he could actually pick up. He handled his pumpkin with great care and even gave it a big kiss. So sweet!
They also had a giant hay bale pyramid. The kids loved climbing to the top. I didn't think Porkchop would make it that far and then all of a sudden I looked over and he was one tier from the top and so proud. I had to climb up there myself and retrieve him, and it was pretty high.
I love home schooling my kids!!! I just have to throw that into this post. Lately I have been even more aware of the closeness that my kids are developing with each other, because of the time and experiences they get to share with each other.
