Definitely One of Those Kind of Days

Does anyone out there ever have one of those days where you think there is no possible way you can make it through without a little diet coke?  Now I am not much of a soda drinker, but every once and a while I have a day where the previous night did not produce much sleep.  And the only way I can prevent CPS from knocking at my door for being inattentive to my children is that small little can with the diet coke label on it.  

Last night, my husband had another one of his Dr. Jekyll, Mr. Hyde moments.   Meaning, my husband is the most mild tempered person I know . . . during the day . . . but at night . . . it's a different story.  My husband is a sleep walker/talker.  There are many stories I have, but that's not what this post is for.  Another day, another time!  

Anyways, last night he had an episode where he got very upset at me because he was trying to fix the blanket by sewing something on (at least I think that's what he was doing) leaving me without any blankets and very, very cold.  I tried to get the blankets back and thats when he got angry with me and we got in an argument as to why I couldn't have the covers back.  This went on for a while when he got very frustrated because he couldn't even figure out what he was doing and he hit the pillow an immediately fell back asleep. 

I, however, extremely exasperated could not fall back asleep because I was so frustrated and angry.  

Finally I was able to fall back asleep only to be awakened by Porkchop at 4:30 a.m. who wanted to play rather than sleep.  So this is my reason for the diet coke!  Oh, diet coke, you once again have come to the aid of a very tired and frustrated mommy!  Thank you diet coke!  Thank you!
