Elder Wirthlin passed away last night at the age of 91. He was the oldest living apostle of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He led a wonderful life and spent it being an example of his beliefs. His wife passed away in 2006 and I can only imagine the sweet reunion he has now had with his sweet wife. He will be missed, but I am happy that he is now reunited with his wife. This last October conference he gave a wonderful talk titled Come What May, and Love It. It was an amazing message and I remember the feeling of comfort it left me. Come What May, and Love It

I hadn't heard he passed away! I'm out of the loop! I really loved that talk too. I'm sad but I'm sure he is so happy right now. We'll just miss him!
This is the first I heard too. Thanks for posting about it,
I heard last night from my mom. It's sad to see him go.
I actually went to a small dinner party in SLC about 20 years ago that he attended. As you would expect, he was just as wonderful and nice and congenial in person. He had a great sense of humor too.
