I found this table and chairs on Craigslist and couldn't pass it up. Six chairs and and table for $70!!!

This is the table with the extensions down . . .
and this is the table with one of the extensions up. It seats six easily, but could seat eight without a problem. My only question now is how to refinish it. There is some slight damage to the table top and I definitely will be putting new fabric on the chairs, but I need to figure out what to do with the table. Any ideas????

I just want to know what you're going to do with that beautiful table that you built? I need it! ;) Sometimes Craigslist surprises me and actually has a good buy. You have to be a detective, though and watch it like a hawk. There are so many people out there charging outrageous prices for their used stuff. Good find!
This might be late, but I remember you saying something about maybe painting it cream? Well with where you have it sitting I think that would look adorable.
