We have had a few requests to put pictures up of this so here it is. This has been our most recent project. Well, on going project. We are changing all the trim in our house from oak to white. We decided to start in the living room. About 8 months ago we painted the living room in two tones with the intention of putting up chair rail. Well we never got around to putting up the rail. So a couple of weeks ago, I told my husband that if he wouldn't commit to helping me put up the chair rail and change the molding that I was going to paint it one color. He didn't want to do that so he committed and we finally got it done. Here is the finished product. I love, love, love the wider base board. I was a little nervous about my color choice, but once we put up the chair rail I fell in love. The pictures do not do it justice. It looks awesome, if I do say so myself. I can't wait to do the base boards in the rest of the house. But the retaining wall in the backyard might need to come first before we continue on. We'll have to see.

It looks very nice! I'd like to do that to a house someday--preferably mine!
That looks really nice Heather. Doesn't it seem like there's always something to be done with a house? We just had to replace our deck because we were afraid it would collapse. I keep putting off my kitchen floor for other things!!!
All your projects look awsome!!!
IT LOOKS BEAUTIFUL!! I totally know what you mean about the pics not doing it justice...that is totally how I feel about my room. It just doesn't quite look as amazing as it does in person! But I can TELL it looks AWESOME! GREAT JOB!!
It looks GREAT! :)

It looks awesome Heather! I can't wait to see it in real life!
It looks really great, Heather! I want to see it. Amazing what a difference white trim can make. Now you know what your man can do...put him to more work!
