Go Green!

This is not what you think!  I have titled this post "go green" not for the environment, but for organ donation.  Green is the national color for organ donation!  My sister in law is really good friends of a family whose little baby was born with a defective heart.  They have been waiting and waiting for a heart for four months and the day finally came!  This little baby was given what they call an angel heart! :)  It has been amazing to watch their journey and all of the trials that they have overcome.  They are not out of the woods yet, but the blessing of a new heart is HUGE!!!!  If not for the selfless act of another this would not have happened!  If you haven't already signed up for organ donation you should think about it!  I mean, really, what do we need with our organs after we pass on!  :)  Anyhow . . .  if you want to see a little of there story check it out here  http://helpbabymia.blogspot.com/

Amen! I love this post! Organ donation awareness is the only way to save other babies from 4 months of waiting. While she waited for four months, there's something like 110 babies that pass away daily in the US. All my heart goes out to those 110 babies, but the loss seems sensless if donation is an option and is not volunteered. I understand the conflict, of course, but I'm so grateful this family said "yes!"

Yeah for Baby Mia! It is nice to be reminded that miracles are still happening, and then you remember that this miracle came from someone elses loss. What a way to honor someone to let them give a gift of life to someone else!
