We just went on a field trip to KNDU, the NBC news station serving the Tri-Cities and Yakima! It was really fun to meet all the people that I watch at 5 am when I am up feeding Carson. The girls got to sit up at the news desk and got to a weather forecast on the green screen.

This is the news room!Something new that I learned . . . I am always curious what the UV index really means. Since moving here everyone on the news makes a big deal about the UV index. Well lately the UV index here is an 8 which means in 20 mins if you have fair skin you will be sun burned. In July and August, in this area, he said it is usually a 10 or 11 which is the highest . . . which means in 5 mins. you will be burned. Crazy!!!
