Best Find EVER!!!

I found this table and chairs on Craigslist and couldn't pass it up.  Six chairs and and table for $70!!!

 This is the table with the extensions down . . . 

and this is the table with one of the extensions up.  It seats six easily, but could seat eight without a problem.  My only question now is how to refinish it.  There is some slight damage to the table top and I definitely will be putting new fabric on the chairs, but I need to figure out what to do with the table.  Any ideas????

My latest project

I really have several on going projects going right now . . . who doesn't?  But I finally finished this one!!!  I have really wanted a way to display my kids blessing outfits.  I had a piece of left over pine in my garage from a previous building project so I decided to come up with something.  I had a bunch of vinyl I bought about 2 years ago, I think, so I decided to put it to good use.  I used my cricut (can I input here that I LOVE my cricut) and came up with this phrase to put on my board.  After a couple coats of cream paint and four knobs I found for $2.90 a piece and 50% off at Hobby Lobby this is how it turned out!   I still want to find some cute, smaller wire hangers, but for now this works!

Happy LATE Christmas

This would have been the picture on our Christmas Card that you would have received if the printers had printed it correctly and I had sent them out.  But alas, the printer did print them wrong and I ran out of time to send them out.  And being the awesome blogger that I am . . . NOT . . . I am even late posting a Christmas entry.  So here I am wishing you a Happy Christmas and a Wonderful New Year!!!

First Cereal Experience

Here is piglet trying out cereal for the first time.

O.K.  Maybe not so good!

Hmmm . . . Not to sure about this.  Then again have you looked at that cereal stuff.  It doesn't look so appealing.  I don't blame her.  We'll keep trying though!

Halloween fun

Such a cute little witch!

And because one picture just isn't enough!

He was supposed to be Handy Manny, but decided on a builder instead.  He LOVES to take apart and fix things so this costume was perfect!

Babe wanted to be the same as Piglet so here we have another witch.  These girls are two cute witches, but then again I am biased.

Honey wanted to be an angel.  I promise she loved her costume, but she is going through that awkward smile phase that I think every kid at some point goes through.  She is still a beautiful angel, smile or not!

I had to put in a picture of all the kids together.  That is Porkchops say "cheese" face.  I promise he's not angry.

Since Halloween was on a Sunday we opted out of trick or treating and just did our church's Trunk or Treat on Saturday. I did a special dinner though on Sunday.  We had mummy pizzas, ghoul juice, and I decorated the table with spiders and worms.  Each of the kids got a pair of crazy eyes too.

Then for dessert we had a graveyard treat complete with dirt, worms, and tombstones.

Cousins

Piglet got to spend some time with her cousin this past weekend.  I can only hope that they will be as good of friends as me and my cousin are.
